In the Old Testament, Moses and the children of Israel refused to go anywhere until God was with them, guiding them as a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. In the New Testament, Jews were surprised by the transformation of Peter, who had been with Jesus. Likewise for the church today: CHC’s pioneers built this church by the power of the Holy Spirit, and now the future lies in the hands of the new generation of believers who are marked by His presence.
